Mini Home Tour & Update

Hi everyone! So I know it has been quite a while since I have blogged on here, but I am finally back. I took a few months off after we bought our first home (which I blogged about here), for a few reasons.

a) I was super stressed – like suuuuper stressed – and anyone who knows me can only imagine what that is like.

b) We had to rework our budget with the new mortgage and all of the costs associated with buying a new home, and I didn’t have the extra money to shop like I used to!

c) We (my husband and myself) have done A TON of work on our home, and we are immensely proud of it!!! It has been time consuming and has dominated my free time over the past few months which pushed blogging to the back burner.

***See some before pictures of our home here.

However, I am happy to say that I am working on becoming more balanced in my life and how I manage my free time. Blogging is an outlet for me; I am a creative person to the core and always need a way to express myself. So while the past few months all my creativity has gone into making our first house a home, I feel I am ready to start reincorporating all of my passions back into my life.

So for my first post back, I’d like to give you a mini home tour so you can see for yourselves what I have been doing during this hiatus!

Enjoy!

That’s all for now! Like I mentioned before, our home is a huge work in progress. I plan to post photos of other rooms as I complete them!
